This filter is NIOSH-approved and provides protection against certain oil and non-oil containing aerosols. It can be used with 3M™ 5000 Series Respirators and 3M™ 6000 Series Cartridges with the 501 Filter Retainer.
This P-series filter is appropriate for both oil and non-oil containing environments with extended time-use limitations. Applications include spray painting, lacquering, petrochemical and chemical manufacturing, pesticide spraying and agriculture. Do not use for asbestos, lead, cadmium, arsenic or sandblasting.
